Thought for the Week
Jesus said, ‘Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.’
Jesus’ reply could be taken to separate the world of money (on which Caesar’s image was found) and our worship of God.
However, the words we use to dedicate our offering evey Sunday is a reminder that there is no separation: ‘All that I am, all that I do, all that I’ll ever have I offer now to you.’
Prayers
Pray for victims of natural disasters and extreme weather.
Thank God for his love revealed in Jesus Christ, our Lord and pray for more love in the church, our communities, countries and the world.
Pray that all politicians and world leaders will use their power wisely in the cause of peace and the eradication of poverty.
Pray for all those you know who are sick or dying and those who have lost loved ones that they may know God’s presence and that peace that is beyond all our understanding or strength

Our Beliefs
The Holy Bible is the best guide to living. It is the Word of God. We may know God’s presence within and around us through the gift of His Holy Spirit. When we believe in God and in His Son Jesus Christ we shall inherit eternal life.
He is Lord of our lives. The Love of God is freely given to all who will accept it and walk according to His ways. We long to share that love. We come from many different backgrounds in the Kirk. Each of us in our human frailty seeks to worship, trust, and serve God in Christ’s name as best we can. We care about God’s world. We care about you. We will keep a place for you in the Church.
