Thought for the Week
I’m sure we’ve all heard of the difference between a pessimist and optimist; a pessimist is someone for whom the glass is always half empty and an optimist is someone for whom the glass is always half full.
As Christians we can be glass half empty or glass half full people. We can look at the world and always see the bad things that happen or that are done by people or we can see the good things that are done and what God is doing through his people?

Prayers
Pray and give thanks for the leaders of the Holiday Club and the Sunday Club that they may have a relaxing break during the summer.
Pray that the world may be guided into ways of compassion and peace.
Pray for peace for all those living under the shadow of war and destruction.
Pray for those in the Democratic Republic of Congo amid the ebola epidemic.
Pray for those who live with discrimation and fear because of their colour, or their faith.
Pray for all those seeking freedom and new life.
Pray for those whose skill and care brings healing to others.

About Us
Our Beliefs
The Holy Bible is the best guide to living. It is the Word of God. We may know God’s presence within and around us through the gift of His Holy Spirit. When we believe in God and in His Son Jesus Christ we shall inherit eternal life.
He is Lord of our lives. The Love of God is freely given to all who will accept it and walk according to His ways. We long to share that love. We come from many different backgrounds in the Kirk. Each of us in our human frailty seeks to worship, trust, and serve God in Christ’s name as best we can. We care about God’s world. We care about you. We will keep a place for you in the Church.
